Get obese nursing home resident the help he needs

Nursing home needed $1.7M bailout to care for resident with obesity, June 7

This article is so sad on so many levels. This gentleman entered the system in 2017. He weighed around 350 pounds. Six years later, he weighs 700 pounds.

His meals, at the facility, would have been planned by a registered dietitian. Had he followed this meal plan, he would have lost weight.

He is allowed to “order in” to the further detriment of his health.

His “right” to order in massive amounts of food is allowing him to kill himself.

The system let him down. The system let us down by having to pay $ 1.7 million. Start helping him NOW!

Respectfully.
