Whether you’re into tangy ciders, fresh Rosés, or simply looking for low ABV, low sugar options that are perfect for casual sipping, we’ve rounded up a few of our new favourites for spring.

Mindful Sparkling | $19.95 

Lakeview Wine Co.’s latest offering from its Mindful line of low sugar and low ABV (alcohol by volume) wines is perfect for the spring.

Mindful Sparkling is a light, golden colour with delicate effervescence, complemented by soft aromas of apple blossom, brioche and citrus. The wine develops with flavours of pineapple and pear with a lingering citrus finish.

The popularity of sparkling wines has been on the rise in recent years, as more and more consumers search for ways to pursue a balanced lifestyle, including rethinking how they consume alcoholic beverages. Shiny Apple Cider Ginger Lime and Shiny Apple Pineapple Mango | $3.65 473 mL can

For the last decade, Shiny Apple Cider has produced premium, locally crafted cider in a variety of flavours and formats, made from fresh-pressed juice from 100 per cent locally grown and sourced apples.

New this spring, the latest flavours in Shiny Apple’s cider line-up are Shiny Apple Cider Ginger Lime and Shiny Apple Pineapple Mango.

While Shiny Apple Cider Ginger Lime tantalizes the taste buds with its zingy combination of tangy lime and a spice of ginger, a sip of Shiny Apple Pineapple Mango will sweep you away to the tropics with the flavours of sweet pineapple and juicy mango.

Fresh Rosé | $27.95 (1.5L)

This spring, there’s a new rosé in town – Fresh Rosé -- sold in a unique 1.5 litre eco-friendly pouch with easy to carry handles, perfect for enjoying wherever you go.

Fresh Wines are bright and expressive, crafted from 100 per cent Ontario grown grapes, and the Fresh Rosé is no different. Light pink in colour, this Rosé has a nose of pomegranate, citrus and strawberry jam. The palate echoes the bouquet with a rich medley of red berry fruits including raspberry, cherry and ripe red plum.

Fresh Rosé is a perfect match for summer barbeques, with spinach salad topped with goat cheese and fresh strawberries or with tomato, bocconcini and basil skewers.
