Dear Mr/Mrs “Partner family”,
The Washington County Habitat for Humanity (WCHH) is excited to announce an opportunity for partners families entitled, “Habitat Homeowners Alumni Association”. Over the past years we have helped families such as yours fulfill the dream of homeownership, and in the future we are asking you again to partner with us to “pass on this blessing” to other families. The goals of the Washington County Habitat Homeowners Alumni Association (WCHHAA) are:
- To provide an on-going support system for 1st time homeowners of Washington County, including helping with “sweat-equity”.
- To provide a vehicle for Habitat Alumni members to assist in educating and identifying new families through live and video testimonials, helping prospective Habitat applicants understand the process and benefits of becoming a partner family.
- To conduct and participate in semi-annual events to promote healthy neighborhood s/ healthy communities such as National Night Out Against Crime.
The benefits of being a member of the (WCHHAA) are:
- Financial assistance toward a Personal growth Plan (PGP) such as partial scholarships toward job training programs and scholarships toward school.
- Emergency financial assistance toward mortgage and other assistance through case management services with Faith Mission.
- On-going interaction with the volunteer board members and partner families.
Please prayerful consider joining the Inaugural Group making history in Washington County.
